How to Get There

Distance from Cancun: 31 km (~19 miles)

Crococun is located right on the main coastal road from Cancun to Tulum on the east side (coastal). You can take a taxi, drive or take a bus.

Crococun Cancun

Take a Taxi: The travel time from the Cancun hotel zone to Crocoun is about 15 minutes. Just tell the driver Crococun crocodile park just before Puerto Morelos. Always ask the driver "how much?" before getting into the cab. For the best going rates, ask your hotel concierge for the current taxi rates.

Rent a Car: The travel time from Cancun to Crocoun is about 15 minutes if you drive. From the hotel zone, follow the highway to Tulum. Just before Puerto Morelos, you will see Crococun on the other side of the road with a large sign "Crocodile Park". Crocoun is located 3 km north of Puerto Morelos and you will see a large sign on the road. See car rental information.

Take a Bus. Along the hotel zone, the public bus is about 65 cents to ride and passes by the hotels almost very 2 minutes. Take the RI bus to the bus terminal downtown. It's a good idea to ask the bus driver to let you know when you get to the bus terminal and sit near the front. Take the "Mayab" or "Playa Express" bus. Buy a ticket to Puerto Morelos. When boarding the bus, ask the driver to let you off at "Crococun, just before Puerto Morelos". The bus is airconditioned and makes stops along the way taking about 20 minutes. On your return, you can catch the bus outside the park, hail a taxi or a cab can be called for you.
