I have been going to cozumel for 9 years and have always rented from john at lesspay. I feel it is the best on the island. Prompt and friendly service,easy pick up and drop off.....never any problems. I have read some other reviews and it makes me onder .....are the bad reviews from competers on the island? That would be my guess!!!!!!

Weve been renting from John at Less Pay for years.  They will treat you right.  Don't even consider renting without the insurance.  Even though your credit card is supposed to cover it, remember you are in Mexico and its not worth ruining a vacation for 10 bucks a day.

We just rented from Less Pay a few weeks ago..they MAKE you get their ins, but it is really cheap...Hope this helps answer your question. Have a good trip!

Can you spell junk ? undependable ? There are other places with good deals and better cars IMHO
BUT HEY some (very few)like johns rentals so to each his own .

In general, I keep crticism of businesses on the Island to a minimum. Choosing instead to praise & promote those I am pleased with, and simply not mentioning those who do not.
John may be a nice guy & all, I just don't much care for the way he does business.

Common knowledge on the island that John buys vehicals from other Rentals (when they think there too problematic) and bugger's them back together and sends them out.
Have seen plugs in sidewalls etc etc .
IMHO Most Of What He Has Is JUNK!
