Consolidated dive report!!!

I guess I should start posting my dive reports on this board...

Well, I logged my 25th dive today...getting better and better with every dive...I am still so excited everyday and always find myself sad at the end of the last dive of the day.  I truly am addicted and like I said...I improve everyday!  However, I found out today what it was like to have a truly horrible dive buddy.  He broke every dive rule known, he was completely spastic like it was his first dive(arms'hands and fins everywhere), and obviously didn't listen to the dive plan.  Now I see how some people get lost at sea!  I personally wish the divemaster would not have let him do the 2nd tank, but he did  spend almost the entire surface interval discussing all of his actions from the first dive.  Second dive the guy was the divemaster's buddy but he still disappeared towards the end of the dive...so we had to end the dive 10 minutes earlier than planned.  That guy will not be diving with us again!

So...I saw my FIRST turtle...FINALLY!  Wow, what amazing animals, but I still think the Eagle rays are my favorite.  My eye is getting really good too!  Another couple I was diving with today said they wanted to see a Scorpion fish...so I made it my mission to find one at Paso del Cedral...mission accomplished!  We also saw several barracuda including the biggest one I have ever seen...he must have been 6 ft long...and that is taking water magnification into account!  We also spotted a shark and some beautiful schools today!

Update on my "Scuba School" progress.  I completed my Medic First Aid course this weekend with Achu and we will start the Rescue course on Wednesday.  I also want to get some fun dives in before I move on for obvious reasons (more experience and to take a short break).  I do plan to do the divemaster course eventually, but again...I obviously want to get some more dives under my belt.  Plan is to do that when I return next time.

If anyone is going to be here in the next 3 weeks...e-mail me...I'd love to dive with some board people!!!

Fins up!
