Comments: My brother and I stayed at Charritas for two weeks, and we will without a doubt be back for another two within long!!!
We came all the way from Denmark and got to see the real Mexico while staying with "Mamma" Sandy (just ask Sandy to tell you her Turtle-story) - something you will NEVER experience when staying at an all-inclusive resort.
If nothing else you have to visit Charrita's to taste the food. Never in my life have I tasted anything that delicious.
And the waiter Manuel might just bring a smile to your lips when he tries to say Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sunday ;oD

Comments: My wife and I stayed at Charritas for six nights in February 2003.  When we go back to Cozumel, there is no question that we will stay there again.  It was so much better than staying at a resort....not only because the value for the money was so good, but because of Sandy and her staff.  We were treated like one of the family.  When we returned to Charritas from being at the beach, or the Mayan ruins, or shopping, it felt like we were coming home.  Sandy pointed us in the right direction for the best beaches, snorkeling, shopping, everything.  We even got to see her do a little karaoke!  I cannot recommend Charritas highly enough....and the other guests that were there had stayed there several times before, so we knew that this was a place people wanted to return to.  And the food....breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it was some of the best food we had on our whole trip.  Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have...but there is no question that we will return to Charritas.

Comments: My wife and I just returned from a 6 day, 5 night stay in Cozumel and we stayed at Charrita's.  Sandy is a wonderful hostess.  She used to own a B&B on another part of the island, but has since opened this 5 bedroom B&B with a Tex Mex Restaurant attached.  All the rooms are spacious and clean.  In fact, we met some people that were staying at Plaza Azul and we invite them over for dinner.  Not only did they think the food was better at Charrita's, but the all agreed that the rooms were much nicer.
At a price starting at under $30.00 pp, you can't go wrong with Charrita's.  If anyone has any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.

My husband and I have stayed at Charrita's B&B many times.  Sandy (the hostess) is absolutely wonderful!  She is a former Continental Airlines employee, and has settled in Cozumel.  The rooms are very clean and the food is great.  Not to mention the fact the price is very reasonable.  Feel free to e-mail me with any additional questions.
