Comments: Can't say enough good things about Summer Place Inn.  This was our fifth year staying here, so obviously we are very pleased with it.  Love the fact that all breakfast foods, snacks, fruits, etc. are provided but you also have a fridge in your room for your own personal goodies.

We have always met great people while staying at SPI and Martha, Henny and Joey are great hosts.  They will help with care rentals and can give you valuable tips on where to eat and where to go.  Will we return, you bet!

Comments: Great 5 star B&B.  Who could ask for anything more.  Great people to deal with and will help you rent a car, order a pizza, write your grocery list.  Etc.  We'll be back again next year.

Joey, Martha and Henny do an excellent job providing your home away from home.

Comments: I would recommend this place to anybody interested to stay in Cozumel for more than 2 days. It is conveniently located close to big supermarket and it is walking distance to downtown and restaurants. B & B has an excellent pool and rooms are like in 5 star hotel. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is TV and fridge in every room. Our hosts Joe and Martha were fantastic. They helped us out with anything we asked for including the reasonable and safe location for renting a car or e-mail needs. We had wonderful 8 days stay in this place and we will come back again. If you have any question please e – mail us. Tomas and Jirina.

Comments: We stayed at the SPI May 10 - May 17 of 2002. Joe met us upon our arrival, showed us around, and informed us we would be the only guests the week we would be there. Wow. But even if the house had been full, this is a GREAT place to stay. Our room was big, A/C worked great, and the kitchen/pool area was really nice. We are not big breakfast eaters, but Joe made sure we had what we requested. Toast & Jam, juice, and we are ready to get the day started. Location is great too. Just 2 1/2 blocks from Chedraui (our FAVORITE Mexican "mini-Super-Walmart). Can't say enough nice things about Joe and the SPI. If you are looking for something a little off the beaten path, by all means, stay here. And the rates ($60 per night) just can't be beat either.

My husband and I had stayed at The Summer Place, Feb 5 -15th, 2001.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were clean and well constructed. Henny and Joe were a delight to deal with and looked after all our needs. The pool area and kitchen were a very nice bonus. The kitchen was stocked with fresh fruit, bread, bacon, eggs, pancake mix, milk and juice. The rooms had a king size bed, dresser, fridge,  large closet and bathroom. The maid service was excellent, the towels were made to look like swans! I would recommend this condo to all my friends and family.

Nice rooms, great folk, a wonderful pool, free bicycles, frig in room and free use of the kitchen stocked with lots of food, reasonable prices, good location 2 blocks from the waterfront near Plaza Las Glorias and Chedraui. They have a link on this board somewhere.

Lured to Cozumel for diving rated among the top 5 in the world, Summer Place Inn was an unexpected treat of private luxury. Henny and Joe's "concierge" style provided not-to-worry peace of mind; beginning with our delayed arrival, through our departure.

Accomodations at Summer Place Inn are 5-star, premium hotel quality. The guest rooms are airy, relaxing and provide enough space for the you and your dive gear. The generous rooms extend onto your own private veranda; equipped with a hammock it's a nice way to siesta as an alternative to the pool. Impeccably maintained, every detail and every area throughout is pristine and inviting.

Every convenience you'd need is near at hand. My favorites were a variety of breakfast foods, private pool area, laundry service and recommendations to the best the island has to offer.  Summer Place Inn is an easy walk to the main Avenida, for a sightseeing stroll into the centro. Enough exertion from your dives? Henny and Joe will get you a taxi or rental car. Just ask.

You won't be disappointed with your stay here.

We stayed at Summer Place Inn June 17-25. We thought it was a wonderful place. Henny (the owner) was great! She was super helpful with any questions we had. She kept the fridge fully stocked with all of our favorite foods. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Just returned from Cozumel.  My wife and I stayed at a bed & breakfast called the Summer Place Inn.  Located in Corpus Christi, Summer Place is convenient to town and just two blocks east of the Chedurai Supermarket and Plaza Los Glorias.

The place surpassed our expectations.  The rooms, with indiviudal entrances, are  large and clean with a small refrig, and AC.  Chairs, a table and hammock are just outside a sliding glass door.

The kitchen area is in a large palapa attached to the house out by the pool. It has everything you need to cook or barbecue including a microwave, blender and  toaster.  The kitchen is open all the time and is always available for use by the guests.  It is stocked with milk, cereal,  juices, fresh fruits, bread, pastries, eggs, ham, bacon,  etc.  My wife and I ate breakfast there daily and after a couple of days bought sandwich stuff at Chedurai for lunch and ate in.  Another couple barbecued almost every evening.  A TV is suspended in a corner and has a satallite feed.   The pool is just right for a dip after returning from a two-tank dive.  There is also a bathroom by the pool alongf with an outside shower and facilities to wash and hang your dive equipment.

Henny, the hostess, works hard to ensure that your stay is comfortable and she is a delight.  She'll even let you use her computer to send a email if you need to.  See the web site at http://www.cozumelbedandbreakfast.com/default.htm Its exactly as shown at the site and the price is right.

I used Deep Blue this trip and was very satisfied with them.  I was picked up daily at PLG (very convenient to Summer Place).  Deep Blue treated everyone as adults and let you dive your computer.  Assistance was provided for those that needed it and the diving was not limited by the person with the less experience or ability.   Safety stops after deep dives were long and so was was the surface interval between dives  -- you weren't rushed.

If you wanted Punta Sur or Maricaibo, all you had to do was make a request. Dived with Luis the majority of the trip and can't say enough nice things about him -- he's great!
