Name: Chuck and Toni

My wife and I have stayed at Days Inn over 5 times in the last 8 years. We are very much looking forward to going there again for a month this year. The rooms were always cozy and very clean. The maids were always at their best. In fact our maid put a special floral display made out of tissue paper in our room to brighten our day (Every day ). The restaurant on the property was very clean, good food, courteous personnel and reasonably priced. The pool is small, but very clean. The court yard around the pool and middle of property is beautiful and very well kept. Personnel at the motel are so nice and so friendly. We cant say enough good about the Days Inn.  Chuck & Toni Miles

Hi,
I stayed there just 3 weeks ago. That was my 6 year in Cozumel and our 6th time staying at Days Inn. We like the hotel. It is small about 50 rooms, clean, with a nice accomodating staff. It has a very nice (somewhat small) clean pool, and a beautiful courtyard. It also has a small restaurant on the premises that serves breakfast and lunch. There are two newly remodeled rooms that have kitchen appliances, they look pretty nice. We like to stay here, it is very budget minded. There are 7 in our family. Costs about $49.00 US dollars a night per room, kids stay free. It is about a 10 minute (1/2 mile) walk to the Ocean and about a 15 minute walk to downtown. And around the corner is a nice small bakery with fresh goods every morning. Hope this helps.

We stayed at the Days Inn last weekend.  It is a nice basic hotel.  The air conditioning was good and cold.  The grounds were pretty and the pool was very nice.  Breakfast at the restaurant was very pleasant.  There is a good Walmart-like store about 5 blocks away for food and goodies.  Downsides were it is a ways from the center of San Miguel and our towels were worn out and a little dirty.  It seems like a good basic hotel for the money.

We stayed there in February of 2000.  It's a very nice place for the money.  If your room seems a little small, talk about moving.  The rooms are not all created equal.  We upgraded the second day and were much happier (a $20 tip did the job).

The "Pancake House" has good breakfasts.  We ate there a couple times.  However, if you take a little walk, you can eat for half the price at a lot of other resturants.  But then, the pool area is a nice place for leasurly breakfast.

I stayed there two years ago.  The resteraunt was only breakfast.  It looks like there used to be a larger resteraunt but due to location and size not enough people to keep it going.

It is walking distance from the town square, aprx 15 minutes.  Basic clean rooms.  Ac worked for me.  Pool was clean.  We thought the Jacuzzi was broke, but it turns out that you had to ask to have it on.  Ask for renovated room...   To sum it up it was a good basic clean place...

I stayed there in '98 for a week and it was adequate. The restaurant serves well for breakfast, the rooms are larger by CZM standards. Within a 5-10 minute walk there is everything you could want. For breakfast it's an easy walk to the Rock n Java, you'll never look farther. For dinner, go north 7 blocks and you are within reach of most of the better known places. For an adventure and economical good food go west to 30th.
For about the same money I'd stay at the Flamingo, no pool but I liked the location better.

Nice quiet a/c, good manmade beach front area and the snorkeling by the hotel was good.  I liked the quick/cheap cab ride into town, 23 pesos.  If you rent a car there is relatively quite a bit of parking space to safely park your car

We would go back but would try to upgrade to an ocean view but it all depends on price.  Our garden view was a little over $80 a night.

Yes, I stayed at the Days Inn in March.  I liked it very much.  There is a nice pool.  There are no parking spaces, you park in the street in front of the hotel.  I had no problems with my car.  I am coming back May 18 -22 but staying in Fiesta Americana, only because I can get frequent flyer miles there.  I will stay in Days again in June.  The people there were very helpful and even called a dive master for me when I had questions on how to take some Mexican ear meds I had bought (instructions were all in Spanish).  They also gave me tour advice on the ruins and taught me some spanish.  It was very clean, beds and A/C great.

We stayed there three times with the last being 1995.  It was fine. The rooms are above average size and there was a smal pool and garden area.  It was a little noisy as it is on a busy street.  It is within easy walking distance of downtown.  We dove with Dive Paradise on those trips and walked to Barracuda for pickup.  If you have any specific questions and you don't get a more response from someone who has stayed more recently, feel free to email me.

This has been our second year in a row that we have stayed at Days Inn (Villa Del Ray).  We fully enjoy staying there because it is a short walking distance from downtown, is reasonably priced, and it is quiet.  The staff is very friendly and the courtyard surrounding the pool is kept in very good condition - a positive reflection of the whole atmosphere at Days Inn.  The restaurant within Days Inn is also convenient and very reasonably priced.  To add to the stay are a few iguanas that seem to have taken up residence in the courtyard.  They are quite a site to see (~4 feet long) and at times they are entertainment.  We will definitely stay there again and I will happily recommend Days Inn to anyone.

Thanks.
