Comments: I have stayed here several times now and will definately go back,not fancy but its clean,has a great pool/courtyard area,staff has always been really great!!
Rooms are not large but they are clean,and the rates are great especially if you book for a week at a time!

Located on 20th and Benito Juarez (four blocks from the waterfront and the plaza), 14 air-conditioned rooms and one suite with private patio area and swimming pool. During high season they charge $40 a night for a double (tax included). We have some friends coming to visit in a few weeks who will be staying there for $25 for a double (we requested a reduced price and got it). Clean, nicely decorated and well-maintained with a very friendly staff. They have a site you can go to if you decide to reserve a room and incidentally, they only accept cash. The actual owner, who lives in Canada now, is the person that will answer the email and I can't say whether she will give you the lower rate or if you have to get that from Letty, the manager. If you're interested in staying at Hotel del Centro, you can email me if you need further info.

I also believe that Pepita's Hotel (same area) was charging $25 for a double. No pool, but nice rooms with a little common area where divers gather in the evening.
