La Arrecife

JUMP TO NEW REVEIWS

Posted by Bob P on 11/30/03

Arrecife at the Presidente Hotel. Ocean view, usually live classical guitar, and a GREAT place to take a walk after your meal. It is a AAA Four Diamond award winner (the only one on the island). It is pricey but, hey, Ron, you only live once. Reservations are recommended, but it has never been crowded when I was at the hotel.

A little hint though....leave the black knee socks and sandles at the hotel!

I was going to mention it because it's a beautiful restaurant with great food and wonderful service - the perfect special occasion restaurant.  However, it's not right on the beach, and when I ate there last, I couldn't see the shore line so I figured it might not be a good sunset spot.

The best (but most expensive restaurant) is La Arrecife located at the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel.  It's a very classy place, but is rarely very full and therefore the waiters really dote on you. The food is to die for, but you need reservations made by the front desk.
