Comments: My wife and I spent 4 days at an all inclusive on the main land then 3 days in Cozumel.  Our cab driver took us to El Capi and we went back a second night because it was so good.  I highly recommend the Capi Shrimp, it's prepared right in front of you.  I had the fish caught that same day... also very good.

Comments: Every time I go to Cozumel, I eat at this restaurant. The snow crabs are fantastic! The margaritas are out of this world, however, I only recommend that you have one. I am not sure, but I think the tequila is a little stronger in this restaurant. Enjoy! I highly recommend it.

Comments: A favorite of ours since we have be coming to the island for ten years. We both had garlic shrimp- only thing is that I like pieces of garlic rather than having the garlic in a butter sauce that you dip. About 14.50 USD

Comments:    I'm so glad I read about this place  in the reviews.  Our group of six enjoyed delicious food, great drinks, & wonderful service in a very pleasant atmophere.  My husband raved about the stuffed squid & I really enjoyed my grouper.  Many of us appreciated the freshly made Caesar salads.  Too bad no one had room for dessert!

Comments: I did a little research before we went and took a map with remote restaurants.  So when my wife and I went shopping in town one day, when we got hungry about mid-afternoon, El Capi Navigante was the closest.  It was still a few blocks to get to it and the traffic does slow down once in a while so that crossing streets is possible with a little patience.  It was a quaint place with the only other customers being locals.  It is worth finding.  It was very relaxing.

Comments: We really enjoyed our dinner at El Capi Navigante.  Food was well prepared and there were specials available of fresh fish served a variety of styles.  Portions are not huge but quality was good. Menu choices range from conch, octopus, snapper, shrimp, and lobster  to combo platters with them all.  They also have a chicken and a steak dish for those who don't eat seafood but the only reason the eat there is the seafood!  It is a bit more expensive than some restaurants in town but the food is well prepared and presented.  Decor is truly the nicest we have seen in Cozumel, too.

I agree.  The EL Capi Navigante is rated as one of the better resturants on the island.

Thought it was pretty good, reasonable prices, etc.  A little off the beaten path.  All restaurants seem to have some seafood to offer, mainly shrimp dishes.  My wife had some great fresh Mahi Mahi at Prima (Italian).  Good luck.

I have been to this resturant many times and have always had an excellent meal.  It is highly recommended.

We were in Cozemel for the day on a cruise. We asked the taxi driver to take us to the best quaint seafood restaurant in town. WOW! we had a great meal of ceviche, octopus and shrimp. It was the highlight of what proved to be a very disappointing vacation.

They’ve upgraded the dining room, and the food is better than ever. Dinner for two with wine was an extremely reasonable $55.

My wife and I really enjoy El CApi Navigante, The food is awsome, the srevice excellent, and the prices very resonale. Be sure to order the banana flambe' for desert, it's great and quite a show.

I've been there on all three of my visits.  We love it!  I had grouper that was made with a whole bunch of Mayan spices the last time we were there.  It was fantastic!  I'd highly recommend it. Try it again - maybe you'll change your mind.  If not, then it's just not your type of place.  With so many great options in Coz, I'm sure you'll find your favorites too!

Hi Tony, I have been eating at Capi Nav at least 5 times a year for the last 5 years. Never had a meal that was not Great. I have been there two weeks aga and the same. I eat in a lot of other places also. This is one of the Best. A new Resturant, The French Quarter, A Canjun Place is also really good. Mike & his Son come from New Orleans and the food is really good. I also like Nino's Pizza, Pepe's, The Havana Club Great for lunch. and many more. Nick F

Review on Capi Navigante.

I eat there at least once each time I go to Cozumel. My wife swears they have the best crab (not always on the menu) she has ever eaten. I was there in early February and had grilled shrimp and octopus cooked in its own ink. Both fabulous. Shrimp were the best I've had in years. Nice people who put on a show with flaming drinks and a strolling singer and guitar picker. Place can get crowded when the tour boats are in. Highly recommended.
