Comments: WOW! I have been traveling anually to Cozumel for the last 8 years and January was the first time I tried El Turix. The food was amazing! They made a Mole that was perfectly prepared- delicate flavors that were not competing (unusual for a Mole). They informed me that they prepare special meals for 6 or more. I am very interested in trying this when I return with friends in February. Nice owners- very gracious hosts that made us feel very welcome.

Comments: This one was of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The owners of the restaurant accommodated my vegan diet with incredible dishes. We had 25 guests with us, and every single person has been dying to get the recipe for the Cake that was made in our honor. They all said it was the most amazing thing they have ever tasted in their lives.. no exaggeration... The environment was completely cozy and accommodating and the service was so wonderful we felt like hugging them after the meal!

If you do not visit this restaurant on your vacation, you missed out on the secret and best part of Cozumel!

excellent restaurant, but the prices have changed since Trudy was there.  They have become well known for their excellent food and the prices have increased accordingly.  If in doubt about the prices when you go, just ask when you order.  We've never had a bad meal there yet!
