There is a place south of town next to the Casa Del Mar where they have a go-cart track.  We stopped & watched, but never gathered enough courage to try it out.  We did meet a girl who received a horrible burn to her arm from the tail pipe.  You cannot rent these to drive around the island, however.  That would just be asking for trouble.  Go-carts and taxicabs together on the same road? - yikes.
