Comments: We booked this as others have mentionted due to the reviews. And it lived up to them! Susan was very knowledgable about the Island and Mayan culture. She also went out of her way to help us. The lunch on the beach was excellent! Snorkeling was a huge highlight. The water was so clear. We saw some fish and a sea turtle. We had the beach all to ourselves. Have you ever seen those Corona commercials? Yea just like that! It was beatiful. We were on a cruise and took this instead of a ship excursion. If you are looking to get away from all the people and tourists and see the real Island this is for you. The tour was very interesting, entertaining, exciting and relaxing all in one. For the time spent it was an excellent value and we would highly recomend it.

Comments: There were six in our party:   me, my husband, our 3 boys and my brother.  We arrived in Cozumel on the Voyager and were proceeding to debark when it was announced that the Rhapsody would be docking and the pier would be closed for about 20 minutes.  We made it off in time and proceeded to the No Name Bar where we were met by Richard and Susan.  Susan, we were told, would be our guide.  When I asked how many others they expected we were told that we were it.  We began by stopping and picking up lunch -- awesome chicken, tortillas, rice, salsa and marinated onions.  Soda, beer and water were also provided.  After we picked up lunch and before we began our tour Susan pulled out and gave us the most delicious croissants!!  They were wonderful.  We headed out of town to the other side of the island.  Susan is most knowledgable about Cozumel and Mayan history and really gave us first-rate personal tour.  The road was definitely bumpy in some spots but was so much fun!!
I would suggest that women who are well-endowed wear a support bra or sport bra of some type.  When I mentioned it to Susan she said other women had made the same comment.  We all had a good laugh when I suggested they provide some duct tape!  We saw the two Mayan ruins and the Mexican Army outpost.  We then stopped at the beach where Susan took my husband, oldest son, brother snorkeling.  I stayed on the beach with our two younger sons.  It was one of the most beautiful  beaches I've ever seen.  The weather was perfect and the water was warm.  After they finished snorkeling we had lunch.  The chicken is awesome!!  We all gave it a 2 thumbs up.  After lunch we had one last swim while Susan packed everything up.  We stopped at the coconut grove where the Mayan groundkeeper cut open some coconuts and we sampled coconut milk and the coconut meat.  I am so glad we booked this tour instead of going with the ship's tour.  We passed a caravan of about 15 jeeps.  I know that you wou
ldn't get the same personal treatment on that tour as you would with this tour.  My brother and I decided to book this tour based on the comments we had read.  We were not disappointed!!  I would recommend this tour to anyone going to Cozumel.  It was definitely one of the most memorable tours that we've taken.  Our boys loved the bumpy road.  As our youngest son said "It was better than Indiana Jones"!

Lisa

P.S.  FYI, Heather is pregnant and not doing tours at this time.

I would recommend the Jungle Jeep Tour over the Dune Buggy tour.

Unless you are in the front dune buggy, it will be a VERY dusty, dirty ride.  The Jeep tour is much more personal and usually just one jeep. You can find them HERE.

I'll be happy to answer questions via email.

The jeep tour will also take you to the North lighthouse if you ask.

Great views from there that most people never get to see.

Comments: Don't believe the stories about women drivers,  be glad you have Heather or Rachel at the wheel!!!  We took the tour on Monday May 12 with my parents (78 & 72) who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.  We stepped off of the boat and quickly walked by the masses who were waiting for the cattle drives, and were at the No Name Bar by 9:30.  Heather & Rachel were waiting and the personal attention we received from them was outstanding.  Extremely friendly and knowlegeable, they quickly put you at ease and set the tone for the highlight of the trip.

I booked this excursion based on comments from these reviews so I wanted to share my own.  This tour does not dissapoint. It WILL be one of your most memorable occasions.  I cannot stress enough the value of receiving the personal attention and interaction that you just can't get when you are in a caravan of 20 jeeps driving yourself.

Now the tour.  The road was limestone rocks with sand, extremely bumpy.  I never hit my head but you get bounced around a lot.  Some concern for my parents but they didn't blink an eye.  Rachel and Heather were very good about describing the local vegetation, animals and history of the island.  Our first stop was a quick view of the ocean at a reef before we crossed a soft stretch of sand.  The next stop was the Mayan man who cut us a couple of coconuts. Next stop was the first ruin.  Another bumpy ride and a stop at the second ruin.  We then stopped at the beach for snorkeling and lunch.  Rachel, my sister and I snorkeled for awhile while Heather got lunch ready and put up with my Dad's stories!  I would rate the snorkeling only about a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.  No fault of the tour here though.  Lunch, the ride back, a couple of pictures and we had just had a 7 hour tour!

Cold brewskies, tropical breezes, gorgeous soft sand, beautiful water with waves breaking, and the personal attention of 2 professional tour guides.  Who could ask for more?

Comments: I booked this tour based upon reviews on Travelnotes web site.  We were on a western Carribean Carnival cruise and I didn't want to do the cruise ship excursion thing.  We were not disappointed.

There were five in our party, myself, my wife and our two sons ages 17 and 22 and our daughter, age 25.  Our ship docked at Puerta Maya, so it was just a little walk over to the International Pier.  Susan, Glenn, and Rachel were waiting for us at the No Name Bar just as promised at 9:45.  There were two other middle-aged couples who booked the tour that morning, so there were nine of us riding in three Jeeps, each with three touristas and one guide.  We had a blast.  Our three kids went with Glenn and had a ride probably equal to any ride at an amusement park

I won't go into any of the specific details, but the tour was as promised, including plenty of chicken and cuervezas at the thatched roof cabana on the beach.  We even stopped on the way back and had a little Mayan coconut tree caretaker open up some coconuts so we could drink from them and then sample the fresh meat inside.

I can't begin to tell you how truly personable and enjoyable this excursion was.  Susan, Rachel, and Glenn, if you should happen to read this, thanks again.

Comments: Four of us took this tour;my brother-in-law, his wife, my wife, and myself.  I would highly suggest that you take this rather than the large group tour sponsored by the cruise ship.  My wife and I were in a Jeep, my in-laws in a Tracker.  Total time for the tour was about 5 hours.  The only difficulty we had was that we landed at Puerta Maya Pier, and the No Name Bar was a fair walk from that area.  Also, since you can't see the bar from where you exit the pier, and some of the taxi drivers didn't seem to understand what bar I was talking about, we had some initial problems locating it.  Our guides were waiting when we arrived, and I was impressed by both their knowledge of the local area, friendliness, and above all, their driving skills.  I would NOT suggest trying to drive yourself in Cozmel unless you are well versed in driving in Mexico.

Neither would I suggest renting a vehicle and taking the road we took unless you are VERY experienced with off-road driving; we observed several vehicles stuck in the deep sand, as well as a ATV that had turned over, injuring it's rider.  The road can be rough in places.

The weather was beautiful, the beaches were breathtaking. It was too windy to snorkle, but we did go swimming in the warm, blue water after eating a plain but tasty meal on the beach.  Saw numerous iguanas sunning themselves on the rocks, and large numbers of frigate birds soaring overhead.  We visited the coconut plantation where the custodian was kind enough to demonstrate opening one for us, after which we could sample the meat and juice.  We visited two smaller Mayan ruins, did a little beachcombing, and passed by a small, thatched-roof  army outpost on the beach where the young soldiers were barbequeing something.  Not a bad place to be posted, I would guess.

At the end of the tour, our guides dropped us off at Los Cinco Solas, where we could find just about anything you could want in the way of Mexican arts and crafts.  An excellent way to spend half a day in Cozumel, if you have the chance.

Comments: We took the jeep tour with Heather, Feb. 15, 2003.  We met her at the "No Name Bar" at 9:45 am.  Please beware of a time change if you tour.  We arrived an hour too early.  Heather, daughter of the tour company owner was very knowledgeable with Cozumel.  She has been there 8 years originating from New Jersey.  The ride is very rough at times.  From Heather, we had an unusual tour because of the Mexican Army clearing our path through the jungle in their vehicles ahead of us.  We had a lot of wind that day.  She took us to 2 ruins.  Because of the windy conditions, we were unable to have lunch at the beach, and she went out of her way to take us to a lighthouse on the most northern point of the island.  The lighthouse is now run by solar power and we were able to go up into the lighthouse.  There was also an abandended army barricks there.  That is were we had a wonderful picnic style chicken lunch.  Nothing fancy, as I said, a picnic lunch in the barricks.  We then s
pent time collecting sea shells in this remote area.  Heather said only 1% of tourists are able to go to where we were, and only about 30% of the natives go to this lighthouse.  The shells we found were tremendous because it was such a remote area.  We also visited the coconut plantation.  Tips are appreciated, and we gave a $25 tip because we felt Heather went out of her way to show us an area that most tourists don't get to see.  She was most appreciative.  My sister went on a jeep tour last July through the cruise ship, and I don't believe she had the experience we did.  Yes, you can rent a jeep on your own and not pay to have a tour, but if you have not been there before, I would be scepticle to do that because of the remote road.  Our trip lasted about 5 hours and we had fun and learned about the island.

Comments: The jeep tour was great.  It shows the natural side of Cozumel. The ruins were really cool to see.  The food / beer provided was good and our guide was fun and knowledgable.  I'm having a hard time remembering her name...Rachel?  My wife and I are mid twenties and enjoyed the tour completely.  The rough roads might cause problems with older passengers unless the jeep is driven VERY slowly.  Personally, I enjoyed being tossed up / down and around while traveling on the twisty dirt roads.  I definitely have a new appreciation for Chevy Trackers now.  If you don't want to be harrassed by the locals to buy something while in Cozumel, do this tour.  The time vs cost ratio is very good.  We came in at 11:30 on a cruise and did the tour until around 6:00.  Thanks again for the great service.

Hi Jidan,

I want you to know that we had a great time.  The jeep tour was wonderful and since there were only 3 of us touring plus the guide makes 4--we really had a chance to explore the other side of Cozumel.  Heather, our guide, shared her personal experience and knowledge of the island.  She even took us to a small coconut plantation where we had the most awesome fresh coconut juice and fresh coconut fruit.  I truly thank you for the recommendation.

Hi, Heather -

Jackie, Natalie, Claire, and I returned home safely on Saturday. The temperatures were cold - it was zero degrees when we reached Buffalo/Niagara Falls!

Thank you again for your friendship and guide service in making this vacation special. The day with you all in Cozumel was the highlight of our trip and we had a great time. It was not only a vacation, but a celebration of Natalie's 18th birthday and upcoming graduation from high school. Since she is going away from home to college, we don't know when we'll be able to vacation together as nicely again.

I hope that you will stay in touch with us and let us know how/what you are doing. We'd love to come visit you again in Cozumel for a longer period. We will look at our photographs and think of you often. Take care.

Your friend,

Michael Stroh

The jungle jeep tour is a blast and lasts for about 5 hours.  You go to the east side of the island and depending on the condition of the ocean, there is a place to snorkle.  Unfortunately, the day I did the tour, the water was to rough to snorkle.  We picked up a lady from a cruise ship and she had a blast, as did I.  It ended up only being the host, Heather, myself and the lady from the cruise ship.  Lots of fun.  You get lunch, cold beers and soft drinks.  The tour can be pre-booked through travelnotes.

Comments: I read the other reviews and they helped me choose the Jeep tour.  Those reviews were right!! This tour was fantastic.  My husband and I loved every minute from the bumpy ride, to the ruins, coconut grove, beach and lunch.   The guides(Heather & Julie) were informative and fun.
I was a little worried about taking a tour off the internet and not the ship but I am glad we did.  Our tour consisted of just us and another couple, each with our own jeep and guide.  The ship tour we passed had about 20 or more people.   Obviously, we recommend this tour. If you want a little adventure on your vacation and can handle a bumpy ride this tour is for you!    We will definitely take this tour again.

Comments: This is a great trip the people are friendly and the tour is great. The ride can be a bit ruff at times but when to do get to the ruins and the beach and the coconut grove it is all worth it. Also the food is great that they bring along for you, you will love the chicken. Although we did not go snorkling thats is also there for you.

Comments: My husband and I went on this tour on our honeymoon, we chose this one because all of the excellent reviews.  And they lived up to our expectations... the owners are very nice, even ran and got life vests for us because we forgot ours.  Our guide Renee was very friendly, helpful, and knowlegable about the area... the snorkeling experience was awesome and the lunch was delicious.  We felt like we were traveling with an old friend.  Excellent tour- TAKE IT!!!  Any further in depth questions, feel free to e-mail me at Xgretchen80@aol.com.  When we go back we will definitely use them again.

Comments: We arrived in Cozumel via our cruise ship.  Renee and Shane were patiently waiting for our arrival. Our ship was  2 hours late due to a medical emergency that had  occurred on board. There were 4 adults in our party so we had 2 jeeps.  Our 5 hour adventure began with a brief stop to pick up lunch.  We then began our journey into the lush tropical jungle. We can not say enough about our knowledgeable and friendly hosts, Renee and Shane.  They were so accommodating and stopped at any request for photo opps.  First, we drove to the Mayan Ruin located on the beautiful surf of limestone and coral. Renee was very knowledgeable of the ancient Mayan legend and culture.    Next, we lunched on a beautiful beach overlooking the indigo blue waters.  We swam and snorkled to see coral, rocks and tropical colored fish. Lunch included traditional mexican fare of marinated chicken, homemade salsa, pickled onions, rice and fresh tortillas.  They also provided water, sodas, and "Super
ior Cervasa" mexican beer.  We were the only 6 people on the beach as far as the eye could see.  It was breathtakingly stunning!  Very Refreshing! Photo opportunities were abundant as were the iguanas.  Our last stop was the "fertility" mayan ruin where once again Renee could provide the history.  On our trip back to port they drove us through the  residential neighborhoods  to see the local culture.
Many thanks to the awesome pair of friendly hosts Renee & Shane.  Alex at travelnotes.cc was also a great help and  reassured  us via enail on the ship that a complete  tour would be waiting and still possible even though we were to arrive several hours late.  The professional service, value and quality of our Jeep tour made this the highlight of our cruise. This tour was highly recommended to all we know.  My sister and family including  2 teenagers took the same tour a week later and were also extremely impressed!  This jeep tour will provide memories we will not soon forget!  Thanks again so much Renee, Shane and Alex,  you were all awsome!  P.S. can you send us the recipe on how to marinate the chicken YUMMY!!!

Comments: Highly recommend this tour for those looking to experience an adventure beyond what is offered by most tour operators. Our small group size (just the two of us and our awesome guide Heather) made the trip very personal, which is unique from most tours you will find in Cozumel.

Off-roading in the jeep was fabulous and the snorkeling amazing. You will also see two of the Mayan ruins located along the coast. Heather is very friendly and extremely knowlegeable about the culture, history, and landscape of the area. Further, she is a master at getting that jeep through some really rugged terrain!

Overall, we had a great experience- definitely would go again. Thanks!!!

Comments: This tour was the highlight of our cruise vacation! My 14 year old daughter and I were picked up at the dock by Heather exactly as scheduled. After a stop in the REAL Cozumel for groceries, we were off on our 4-wheel drive trip through the jungle.  Heather is extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and her love for this island, it's history and it's people is obvious.  We were lucky because this particular day, we were the only persons on the tour, although I understand the tour groups are deliberately kept small. We immediately felt as if we were with a really fun and adventurous friend who was delighted to show us this beautiful place. The trip through the jungle following trails used by the Mayans and the stop at two minor ruins was awe inspiring as was our arrival at the beautiful beach.  Lunch was simple and superb, eaten in a palm thatched hut after much play in the ocean and exploring the beach, looking for shells and other treasures.  Our very excellent adventure ended with a stop at a small Mexican military outpost, decorated by the soldiers with shells, coconut palm huts and tree houses.  I highly recommend this adventure foranyone who wants to see the island as the Mayan's saw it and to experience a beautiful undeveloped beach before they are all gone.

Hello Alex, Thanks for checking on us! Yes, we enjoyed our Jungle Jeep tour. All involved were very friendly & our guide Heather was great. Very open, down-to-earth & knowledgeable of the island.

The "other" side of the island is very different from the western side and certainly worth a visit by anyone travelling to Cozumel! It is quiet with miles of beach & pounding blue surf.

Thanks, Linda & John

Hi Alex,

I definitely meant to e-mail you about our trip.  Other people's reviews helped us to decide to take the jeep tour & I wanted to return the favor.  We had an excellent time on our trip.  We were the only ones that day so the guides took us in 2 jeeps - one for my husband & I and one for our kids (14 & 10).  The kids absolutely loved the ride & Heather was great with them.  Everything went off without a hitch, both guides were great, we got to do a little of everything (ruins, jeep ride, snorkel, beach), & had a delicious lunch to boot!!  I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a diverse, personal 4-5 hour excursion.  Pat S.

Comments: TravelNotes was excellent to work with.  I had not problems and everything went off without a hitch.

As far as the jungle Jeep Tour went, I would give them a 10 on everything except here are a few areas they could improve on:
1 - They had tons of iced down beer, but we don't drink beer.  It was very hot and the sodas were warm.  Yuk!

2 - I'd give Renee a 10 on hospitality and Heather a 9.  Renee offered her snorkeling gear when mine didn't seem to fit right.  Renee was very, very accomodating and there only to make the trip great for us.  Heather was really good, but seemed a bit in a hurry to get home and not quite as catering.

Comments: Tour booked through Travelnotes was executed flawlessly. Tour operator, Gail Ralston, a New Jersey expatriate, runs Aventuras Naturales, a small, family oriented operation in a commendable, professional manner. Daughter, Heather Ferriol, his general manager and chief tour guide/jeep driver, knows the area and the language, both Spanish and the local Mayan dialect. The tour is not for the faint of heart or for anyone with a tender behind. Half the area covered traverses a roadway comprised of sand and mellon sized boulders - a Jeep is barely adequate to the task, a Humvee would be better. Heather and companion driver, Renee, both know the road, the scrub jungle and its wildlife, and the two Mayan ruins visited during the tour. Heather provides a light breakfast (delicious croissants) a BBQ chicken lunch with rice, salsa, corn tortillas and beer/soda/water, plus a dip in azure blue water. She can also provide snorkle gear for those who would explore a coral reef about 200 meters off shore. As bonus extras, we also visited (1) a coconut plantation, whose Mayan overseer opened several nuts for us to sample the nutmeat and cocunut water, plus an explanation as to how the place operates, rendered in Mayan, translated by Heather; and (2) a Mexican army outpost responsible for patrolling the northeastern coast as part of the country's drug interdiction program. Along the way we spotted numerous iguanas, gekkos, turkey buzzards, frigate birds, herons, and more. The tour lasts about six hours and ends with a quickie run through Cozumel city environs. All in all, it far surpasses the jeep tour offered by the cruise ship in all respects, and comes in more than 10% below cruise ship's price. Add to that the personalized attention (just the four in our group in two jeeps) from a couple of very knowledgeable and sincerely friendly guides, and one would wonder why anyone might rather deal with the impersonal, cattle call operation run by a cruise ship.

Comments: The Jungle Jeep Tour was definitely on of the most enjoyable adventures we've ever experienced. Our tour started with a prompt pickup right in the lobby of our resort. Our tour guides Renee and Shane were two of the nicest people we met in Mexico. Their friendliness,  knowledge of the Mayan and Mexican culture, and great personalities made our tour the absolute best. The undeveloped terrain  definitely made for a bumpy ride but the "Mexican Massage" only added to the experience. I strongly recommend an extra support bra and only a light meal before you go!! We traveled through the jungle stopping at ancient ruins and picturesque locations for hours. Lunch on the beach was awesome!! We enjoyed a lovely lunch of Mexican cuisine including complimentary drinks. Renee and Shane were perfect hosts!
We continued our tour after lunch by checking out more Mayan ruins and trying to keep count of the number of iguanas darting across the road or sunbathing on the rocks. I can't say enough about Renee and Shane because they made such a huge contribution to our experience. We encountered only a few people during our tour but had an opportunity to visit two Mayan land caretakers who were kind enough to share a piece of their culture with us. There is also a small military out post stationed in the jungle housing approximately 5 Mexican Army men. The picture of me posing with the military outpost crew was one of the best pictures we took in Mexico. We concluded our tour with a lovely drive around the Island as Renee and Shane pointed out the other must see sights in Cozumel.
This is a "must do" tour if you go to Cozumel and if given the chance, make a request for Renee and Shane to show you around.

To Renee and Shane: Thanks for a wonderful time and good luck on the house. See you next time!!

Comments: My wife and I took her 80+ year old mother along for the jungle/jeep tour and we can't say enough about how great our driver/guide Heather.  She was as perfect as the rotisseried chicken, the pickled onions and tacos we had on the beach.  What a great representative she was of all that we expected on a tour of this type.  And though the road WAS a bit of a bumpy workout for Mom, Heather's wonderful sense of humor and kindness smoothed the ride for her, making it one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences she will ever have.  Even more delightful than her extensive knowledge of the Mayan temples we saw, was her willingness to introduce us to a friend who spoke the Mayan and Mayan/Mestizo mix.  Typical of her, it seemed, was when she brought him a machete sheath she'd bought for him a week earlier.  The man was almost in tears at her thoughtfulness and referred to her as his daughter.  Heather, you made our trip.  We will always remember you, your love of life and the honest and true companionship.

Comments: Richard (the owner) is retired to the island and only likes to run groups of 5 Jeeps or less.  He met us at our hotel as requested and had a Jeep all lined up for us.  On this day we went out a convoy of three.  Shane and Renee were introduced as our guides and drove the other two Jeeps. They led us up the "road" to a beach where we snorkeled and ate a great chicken lunch before heading back to town.  The tour lasted around 5 hrs.  From what I saw with the other tour,  I think we made a great choice. Small in size,  relative comfort in a Jeep (the road is REALLY rough), and excellent guides all combined to make for  a great day! Our family would aabsolutely recommend them for a jungle trip.

Comments: Thank You Heather, Renee, Shane and not to forget Richard..........
Jungle Jeep tours is everything and even more than what people have been posting for the last two years. It's fun, they make it exciting, and by the end of the trip their like family. The croissants were better than great and I can still taste the chicken fajitas, not to foget the cervesas.
We booked through Travelnotes and received comfirmation and numbers to call once on the Island. We were even contacted before the trip by Travelnotes because a large cruiseship group had booked the same day.

They were concerned and asked if we wished to switch days for a more private tour. Talk about service!!! We appreciated her call but stayed with our original date. Part of the fun of vacationing is meeting new people you might not have an opportunity to meet otherwise. Boy, were we glad. They turned out to be 2 from our home state besides us,13 from Myrtle Beach on the east coast and 3 guides; Heather, Renee and Shane (They normally go out with no more than 5 Jeep's). We stopped at 2 Mayan ruins, had lunch on the beach where we also could snorkled. It was all to relaxed and we didn't want to go back to civilization as we know it. Dropped off at your hotel or where needed. A feeling of "I'll see you next year". What more can I say IT WAS GREAT!!!
Thank You Richard for a wondereful concept. Thanks for the great recommendations on one restaurant in particular. Your name got us in the door. Thanks again "See you next year. We've booked 2 weeks.

P.S. Isn't that a picture of me on your tour site from only 6 weeks ago???

Just got back from my trip. I enjoyed our guide very much and would like to be sure and send a thank you about him. I do forget his name. The overall tour and the horses left a little to be desired but still offered an affordable different thing to do while in Mexico

We went on our jeep tour on 10/3/01, so this is a little late!  My best friend Cindy and I were on a Western Caribbean cruise and Cozumel was one of the stops (ended up being our favorite!!!!)  We'd seen reviews on the jeep tour, and knew that's exactly what we wanted to do.  It rained most of the time we were on our tour, but that didn't matter, it was so much fun!  We arrived at the island at about 8:30am, so we had an hour and a half before the girls would pick us up.  We did a little shopping and stopped to have a drink.  At 10am Julie was at the Noname Bar to pick us up.  We went and got in the jeep to wait for the rest of the group.  Once Heather got there, we were off.  Julie was driving our jeep and a lady (Don't remember her name) from another group was in the front seat and Cindy and I were in the back. We drove into town and they picked up the famous chicken and we were ready to go!  We drove down to this dirt road that goes into the jungle.  It was great!  Those girls really know how do drive off-road!  It was fast and bumpy, but so real!  We stopped at two of the Mayan Ruins.  Heather knows so much about the Mayan history, she was so informative.  At the second ruin, we stopped and ate lunch right inside of it.  The lunch was great!  We made our own fajitas with the chicken.  I loved it!  After lunch, we drove further into the jungle to our next stop...SNORKELING!  Snorkeling was Julie's department.  She scuba dives and knows alot about the reefs, fish and sharks.  She would dive down to point out the fish and different animals, so we could take pictures.  While we were out, it started storming, so we had to swim back to shore.  The ride back was nice, we drove right along side the shore....BEAUTIFUL!!!!  I recommend this jeep tour to anyone going to Cozumel.  It was so much more fun that the boring, stick to the schedule cruise excursions.  The girls are so good at what they do, and they made sure that everyone on the trip had a good time.  On my next vacation, I'm not taking a cruise, I'm going to Cozumel!!!  THANKS HEATHER AND JULIE!!!
