Most Talked About Things to Do Reviews: Posted by Ron Lee on 04/30/01 I walked from HSM to the mini-golf arriving just before 8 PM. Already many women and one guy were there. The guy was Travelman (Chris) and the women were Terri (Wild Woman) and her three friends, JennyO (great report writer) and her sister and off course Sally.I actually got a hug from a woman (will not reveal her name to protect her reputation). Then I saw the lovely Sunshine. She was looking really nice compared to last November. Then I did what I do best to get a female to spend some time with me...I gave her treats. Yummy chewy beefy treats. This female was enchanted with me. The charm I try to hold back still captivated her. Then the other ladies decided to go to their hotel since they were very tired. Chris and his son and I played a round of golf. I think I did better than last November but still did not even make par. Not to worry. The setting with the trees and water is idyllic (insert better word if this one is wrong). It really is a fun time. Plus they have the newest Can-Do maps. Posted by Panchita on 03/12/01 The absolute best course on the island... can be found in town - look for the water tower, or ask the taxi to take you to "Golfito". Clubs are complementary, but Sally's Sangria will cost you extra!Posted by sandra on 03/02/01 My friend was in Coz last week (I think she was tut's neighbor @ HSM :) ) and she fell in love with the sangria at the minigolf! I'd love to be able to give her the recipe... whaddya say Sally? :) Anybody else have a great recipe to share? We don't discriminate, we'll try them all! :) Posted by RB on 01/28/01 I agree--the Cozumel mini-golf is great. I was sad to note on my last
visit to Cozumel that the Posted by Sparky828 on 01/26/01 I know it's not the same thing by any yardstick, but you owe it to yourself to check out Cozumel Mini-Golf (it's across the street from the Diamond Cafe). Very nice, and unlike most mini-golf stateside, they'll bring beer or sangria out to you!More info at my website along with some other pictures and stories from our honeymoon in paradise. Posted by Dijo on 01/09/01 Just a quick note on the minigolf. It was super. Actually
unbelievable. When we tell people we played minigolf in Cozumel they
look at us as if we're nuts. Actually you're nuts if you don't go and
play. It sure isn't easy, but it's beautifully landscaped and someone put
a lot of work and imagination into this setting. Posted by Mike S on 12/10/00 Just returned on Friday and made at least one stop per day at Mini Golf.
Great hospitality and Sangria, not to mention drink delivery to the course.
Sunshine, the General Manager, is the perfect hostess. Never judgemental
and always available for a photo op!! :) Oh, Scott and Sally are OK too! Posted by Jidan on 12/05/00 played a round of mini-golf with Harry & his lovely wife Michelle. lots
of fun. Posted by sjp on 12/04/00 We just returned from a very rainny week in Cozumel. However, one
bright spot in our week was our game of mini-golf . We enjoyed the
course... it's beautiful. The selection of music was great and the
hospitality of Sally was appreciated. (Including bringing us a couple of
umbrellas when it started to rain!) The Mini-golf ROCKS!!! Literally....(+) Nice course, walkie-talkies for
beverage orders & Rock & Roll on the PA system. Plus, the dog who runs
it is way cool. Her people are OK, too. It may not be an 18, but it's a big 10 to me. Posted by Lisa from MN on 08/07/00 I just want to thank Sally and her husband for a great time. The course is awesome, we cannot wait to bring our kids next year and play a round or two. We went at night, an incrediable hot and humid night, only made it to the 10th hole but we had a blast. You two have done a fantastic job with the space! They have a great choice of music as well! See you next February! Posted by Ron & Robin on July 4, 2000 Scott & Sally have made a wonderful little paradise of a golf course right in the city. We really enjoyed playing a round through the jungle of palms of all sorts and water hazzards!! This is a fun break during the day or evening!!! Didn't have a chance to try the drinks this time but will be sure to next trip!! And take your children's clothing donations to Sally when you are there. Ron & Robin Posted by travelman on June 12, 2000 Hey guys, I am back from a week in paradise.... Sally we had a great time at
mini golf and once again you make the best Sangria on the island.... Posted by Robin on May 30, 2000 It was the best $5.00 I spent my entire trip. Even though I had read wonderful things about the mini-golf course, I was still surprised at how beautiful it was. Not only is it beautiful, but the course is challenging and the music was great! Gotta love course side service of those drinks too! I will tell everyone I know that goes to Cozumel to play a round of mini-golf and take an extra 10 extra minutes to learn the history of the course and how it started with a handful of bananna trees two years ago and now there's over 150. Great place!!! Posted by Bobber on May 10, 2000 Hi Craig Just got back from Coz Saturday. Met Sally and Scott (great folks) and played a round. Used the walkie-talkies to order a round. Great fun, beautiful surroundings, and I think your 6 year old would have a great time just being with Dad and getting the ball in the hole. Definitely a family activity. Posted by carla on May 10, 2000 The mini-golf is beautiful and great! A lot of divers go there....do not put it down unless you have been...You get drinks by radio while playing! Try it maybe you will like it! Posted by Deb MN on May 10, 2000 Hi! I'm Katie and I am 9. My sister and I Kerri who is 7 played the mini-golf course and thought it was a lot of fun! I got the ball in the water a few times but there are some nets close by if you do that too. Very Fun, stop by and say Hi to Sally and Scott and Sunshine, Love Katie Posted by Lori from MN. on May 10, 2000 We were there in March with our 2 kids, 3 and 7, they loved it. The 3 year old played too fast for us, so we sat and visited with sunshine and sally while my husband and son played the whole 18 holes. It is such a pretty spot in the middle of town, definetly worth the time, probably the cheapest thing you will do on vacation! Great picture opportunities too, flowering trees and waterfalls, banana trees and iguana's. Some of my best pictures were taken there. Have fun! Posted by Chris on May 9, 2000 We took our four kids (three teenagers) to the MiniGolf one night while on vacation. They enjoyed it so much, they wanted to go every night. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it also. Panchita, don't take their comments to heart. You gave them excellant advice. Their bad if they choose to be left out of the fun. Sara, have a great time. Oh, how I wish I were there! Posted by Art & Mary Puls on March 31, 2000 Thursday night at 8pm is the meeting time. We played a full 18 while we were there waiting for others to show and let me say that it was the MOST CHALLENGING round I ever played. Watch out for the "Attack Bananas"!! I went fishing for my ball twice......It was allot of fun though. Posted by Kansas on March 16, 2000 MiniGolf a Blast!!!!!! A couple buddies of mine and I just got back from Cozumel and hit the Golfino one night. Had an excellent time playing the course. Sally makes some very tasty beverages. You guys should go check it out! They let you puff away on cigars while you navigate the course and have one hell of a drink service. Radios to carry with you when you run dry and they will zip out with more of the tasty stuff. What more could you want????? Posted by Lindy on March 15, 2000 Don't neglect to visit the Mini Golf & say hi to Sally & Scott
They have created a delightful tropical playground in the middle of town!! They
are two very charming Posted by tat2chas on March 4, 2000 Great pleasure meeting & talking to you folks. Loved the course, next trip I'll play it in the daytime. Thanx again for your help w/ my friend. She was most appreciative. See you again in late May most likely, maybe earlier Posted by Rob on March 2, 2000 Hey, Scott and Sally! Posted by Terri on February 29, 2000 I know I need to get my act together and post a trip report, but right now I am trying to put together a liver donation fund that I need after my last quick trip down. But I do have to say, if you are going to Cozumel make it a priority to get the Sally & Scott's golf course. It is great. Sally & Scott are very friendly people and will make sure you have a good time. We really wanted to try out the walkie talkies...so cool. And if you didn't get around to ordering your Cozumel map before you leave, they have them at t Posted by Doug and Chris on 02/28/00 A Big Thank You A big thanks to Sally and Scott for welcoming the two of us as well as Karl, Stephanie and Matt. Your golf course is a "must see" for everyone on the chat board. To all of you who are going down in the near future, play a round but don't forget to take the 2-way radio. A real life saver! You will see.
