Cozumel Trip Report

Trip Report
Flying Funjet was a better experience for me
this time. All went smooth on the flight.
Arrived in Cozumel @ 9 am got to Allegro by 10:30 am made reservations for the
two restaurants, no problem. Normally you have to wait until 3pm to get a room,
we were lucky and got one by 11am.
We were greeted with flowers and drinks right upon walking in the lobby(great
touch I must say).
The room:
Well we were on the 2nd floor so we had a thatched roof. That was kinda cool. We
were right in front of the tennis courts close to the lobby and food, but a long
walk to the pool and beach.
The rooms are small and my 1st impression was that they did not look clean. They
were clean I was just used to painted walls and curtains. We did have mini
blinds though. The bed was hard and we had an ant problem the 1st day, but
housekeeping came and took care of it.
I loved the fact that each room had a poarch with a hammock. I used that thing
many times.
Dinner:
The food was great and the drinks as well. Never had to wait in line long. Very
casual dress.
Monday:
Swam with the dolphins...EXCELLENT!!!!Being a mojor dolphin lover I loved it. I
did this at Chankaanab Park. Also I was kissed by a sea lion at the sea lion
show. LOVED that. Then I was kissed by a parrot latter that day. I have swam
with dolphins before and this time was the best.
Snorkled at the park had a great time could see many fish and a HUGE barracuda.
Tues:
Went diving with Eco Divers. They are so much fun. Only had 4 people in the
boat. Very one on one type. Also snorkled .
Wed: Back to Chankanaab because we liked it so much, then that afternoon
snorkled at Allegro but visibility was not that great current bad.
I liked the Allegro and would stay there again. They really do treat you like
kings and queens.
We did not go to town or much of anything but dive and snorkle, but that is how
we wanted it.
I will be going back in the fall so I can see and do more and stay 7 days not 5.
Any questions e mail me.
