trip report

Excellent visit to Cozumel again this year. We were there Jan 27 thru Feb 3. In a nutshell: Passports and carry ons only is the ONLY way to go. In and out of the airport in less than 2 minutes. Unbelievable! Stayed away from downtown except for a few evenings.
Dinner at Guido's:
( garlic shrimp and pasta awesome as always)
La Mission;
( busy efficient waiters, very good food, given wrong bill, not as quaint as we remember),
Ernesto's:
( terriffic location south, excellent food, great service, favorite spot).
Rockin java:
( very good salads as usual)
We spent all our days on the eastside. When we were thirsty for DosXX we headed to Coconuts and Senor Iguanas. At Coconuts Edwin is the best and we had fun Sunday night in the Plaza meeting his family and watching Carnival intro. Had a blast looking through "the book" at Coconuts. Nakedness throughout!  Edwin is in some of the pictures but he claims it is his evil twin! Met Ron there and thought he was Chas. We cleared that up and had many great visits with him. Seems Coconuts is his spot in the afternoons "sunning himself". Ron, had fun meeting you and Dan and I think your the best. Senor Iguana's has the absolute best nachos with jalepenos. My husband gets so dark while in Coz that a cruiser at Senor Iguanas asked him if he owned the place. Great laugh over that one. Took the lighthouse trip and snorkeled in the most pristine area there. Saw huge Crocodiles also! Not in the snorkel area so don't worry. Many surfboards late afternoon near Chen Rio. Met Glassman and saw his wonderful work. The week flew by and we are now suffering from withdrawl. Hopefully we will stop looking at the clock every few minutes and wondering about what we were doing while in Coz at that time......lots of reflection time while there and memories made. Sorry o pictures....they are all in our heads and may not be suitable for some audiences!
