Title: Third World Country, First Class Vacation

Comments: Despite endless hours on this and other bulletin boards, I admit I was still just a bit nervous about what to expect from a package company and a mostly-recommended but still somewhat-criticized hotel.

Turns out it was fantastic. Sure, the beds are a little hard, but I say the food was outstanding, and after seeing several other virtually empty AIs on the trip, I'm happy we (3 single non-gay mid-20s males) chose Funjet and the El Cozumeleno.

Anyway, there are many postings here, but if you want to hear more first-hand information about the hotel, the various tours offered at the hotel, the weather, the clubs, the shopping, the taxis, the food, the crowds, Funjet, the prices, immigration, or whatever, just write me directly.

I want to keep it short because I know whoever's reading this probably has a lot more to read as well, but having read many dozens of postings in the weeks leading up to my reservation and trip, I just felt obligated to send out my brief trip report as well.

Thanks,
