Cozumel Trip Report Cozumel Trip Report (there Jan 27th - Feb 3rd) Hi,Returned from Cozumel and back to reality of a true Minnesota winter!! Had a great time while, there, highly recommend eating at Prima which is an Italian restaurant w/totally awesome food at a great price. The Waffle house wasn't too bad for breakfast. Our favorite hang out spot was Carlos & Charlies (makes you feel like your in college no matter how old ya are:) the waiters are totally the best you could ever ask for:))) We also hung out three days at Play a Sol (very nice people, outdoor pool, great service and water toys). Watch the gentlemen in the store selling jewelry..after I decided on my purchases and bartered for the best price, putting it on my credit card, I discovered they were trying to over charge me. Anyway, the Manager at Play A Sol went and spoke with them and I received the difference back. Went with a friend of mine, her daughter and my daughter, staying at the Sun Village. We had the Triple room which is nothing more than 2 double beds and 1 twin. Nothing to write home about, but the people at the front desk were very nice. We also golfed at Sally's miniature golf and thought that was alot of fun, especially the walkie talkies to order drinks from. Our final day was at Chankanab (sorry if spelled wrong), where our daughters had the lifetime experience of swimming with the dolphins. They absolutely loved it. $119.00 US dollars/each and another $74/each for video and 3 color photos. Highly recommend going to the Museum as well, can see some interesting cultural items, and the gentleman at the end of the tour (he's in a hut) is great fun to listen too. Knows his history. Also did the horse & buggy ride around town ($20/4 people 1/2 hour ride). Was fun to do, took us to where the rich section of town was, along with the poor section, showed us a beautiful church (even the inside) and dropped us off at the museum when done. Cab fares: $12/each way to Play A Sol and $8/each way to Chankannab (our first time we paid $15:(( Live and learn. Alot of fun and would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Enjoy your trip! Lodging Reviews
