Comments: My husband and I just got back from our 7 night stay (8/8-8/15).  This is our second trip and we stayed at the same hotel 2 years ago.  The staff is super friendly and the place is clean.  If you like loud music and constant activities then this is not the hotel for you.  But if you like a quiet and relaxing environment then this is it!  The snorkeling was excellent by the hotel.  We tipped the maid $5/day and she did an excellent job.  We got a 1 bedroom suite (a must!) and immediately headed out to Chedruai (the local supermarket) to stock up on supplies.   We did the Chichén Itzá tour and enjoyed it.  What a thrill to be walking up and down those steps!  We had the shaved ice by the square almost every day.  It definitely hit the spot on those hot days.  Food was always great wherever we went.  A special mention has to go to Pancho's Backyard.  We ate at the hotel restaurant twice and thought that the prices were very competitive.  Food was great.  Besides the wo
nderful sea food, I have to say that Cozumel makes one of the best french fries!  We visited the local museum and enjoyed the interesting artifacts and rich history of the island.  We will definitely be back!
