Want to be certified in scuba? Being certified in scuba diving
will allow you to dive almost anywhere in the world.
Though certification is not guaranteed, most students are
able to complete the course and obtain certification. The instructors will
work with problem students as long as possible (and your stay in Cozumel permits!).
Most students complete the program as safe, confident divers in 3 days. Minimum
age is 10 year old.
The course normally takes 3-4 days to complete. You will need
to set aside from approximately 9am to 2pm for the duration of the course.
If necessary, an additional day will set aside but that will depend on the
student's learning ability.
It's recommended to pick up the course book and have it read
in advance so that you don't spend your vacation evenings reading. In addition,
advanced reading will help complete the course faster. The book can be purchased
on online dive shops or at your local dive store.
